The only way that I enjoy "character time travel to try to fix things" fics is when the character makes everything worse

(FFXIV secret) The fandom seems pretty equally split on either Estinien/Alphinaud or Aymeric/Estinien as the big Heavensward ship (excluding WoL ships of course).

Meanwhile I'm over here like... why not Aymeric/Estinien/Alphinaud? Aymeric would be a much-needed stabilizing factor for both of them, and they all care very much for one another. (Not to mention the pure hedonistic sensuality possible here. Yes pls.)

For some reason, I was convinced the latest episode of The Good Place was the last one of the season and thus the last one of the show. I had majorleague WHAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!???!!! first, and then a moment of "wow, gutsy to end your show on that note". While I was glad to hear that no, I was wrong, there's quite a few episodes to go yet, part of me still things that, damn, that'd be a hell of a way to end.

While I suffer from seeing characters I like die or sufer, I really like how Koyoharu Gotouge in demon slayer/kimetsu no yaiba is not afraid to kill character and how often they get hurt. It feels like there are real stakes and danger in this world comparing to other shonen

I don't get people that get mad at secrets or comment things like "just you think like that". Is it not one of the ideas of fandomsecrets to share unpopular opinions or things that few people talk about?

I'm enjoying the Mandalorian. But it isn't as amazing as some fans are saying. And the way some are going on and on as if it has "saved Star Wars" and is better than any of the non-OT movies makes part of me want it to fail or end up really terrible. I hate those fans getting anything. They are what is ruining Star Wars, and they don't deserve to get anything they like.

I’ve kind of grown to hate the trope (especially in fanfic) where a character looks at their newborn baby for the first time and: "They had never seen anything more beautiful. They didn't know it was possible to love this deeply. They knew they would lay down their life for this small, perfect being in an instant."

I know that many new parents feel this way about their newborns, and objectively I know that's a beautiful thing. But I just can't relate to it at all. (I don't have kids, and I probably won't have kids.)

I just really want some fics where the character feels kind of blank, or trapped, or just overwhelmed and scared, or anything other than blissfully ecstatic. Especially if the character didn’t really want kids when the pregnancy storyline began (which is pretty common).

(One Piece secret) Garp is not at fault for Ace death, Ace was a grown-ass man that chose his life and death, his whole character was about he choosing who he was. If Garp really wanted he could just force Ace to be marine or keep him lock up in a basement somewhere since he was and make sure noting can kill him or hurt him, but he let him be free and choose his own destiny

I copy/paste smut scenes into Word files and then add to them and change them to make them even filthier and (IMO) hotter, so that I can get off to them. I wouldn't say I'm ashamed of doing this, but it does feel kind of weird and pervy. Especially since I never change the scene in remotely realistic ways. Nope, I definitely do the opposite. Give me impossibly huge dicks and impossible amounts of ejaculate and ridiculously long orgasms and knotting and naturally occurring lubricant and dudes with no refractory period, thank you very much.

(I would never in a million years post the resulting scenes as my own, or even show them to another person, for the record.)

I think fandom is getting more aggressive, yes that were always ship wars and groups that hated a sertain character but now i see people wanting to to star controversies and fights by going on forum/groups/tags that are dedicated to a character or ship to star arguments

I really don't give a crap about Dexit (and I think the high sales for Sword and Shield show that the people complaining about it far overestimated the amount of people who actually do care about it).

I don't care if it's Alex Turner normal accent, if his naturally losing his original accent or if he's forcing a american accent, I just can't take his speaking voice seriously

I pretend to watch Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda for the Tyr eye candy, and while that is partly true, I am much more invested in the characters and the overall storyline than I'm willing to admit. The show is fun and corny, and I hate that I'm so embarrassed about it.
