I haven't watched The Mandalorian yet, but I can kind of get your mixed feelings about it's success. I sort of feel similarly about Rise of Skywalker. Even though as a fan I genuinely want it to be good, I kind of have this weird feeling about it...where I want it to be good specifically in a way that gives people more context or appreciation to TLJ. Or if not, I want it to be terrible in a way that is much , much worse than TLJ.
Just so people will take a step back and think..."well TLJ admittedly had genuine flaws but maybe I was overreacting a bit by calling for Rian Johnson's neck, sending hate mail to Kelly, and insulting the morality and intelligence of anyone who had positive or neutral feelings about it."

I didn't even like TLJ all that much myself but the antis are so venomous and elitist and outspoken about it that I'm just dying for something to shut them up (or at least make them want to apologize for the way some of them treated Rian Johnson, Kelly Tran, Laura Dern, and Adam Driver) over the movies (admitted) flaws.

In fairness, that one was absolutely awful.

Nothing included in the 'honest trailer' suggested they'd actually played the game and if the others are like that, I can see the complaints. It's like they went off reviews, or ... literally trailers, which sort of defeats the point of an honest trailer.

And ... the ol' horse testicle joke would have been fine to include in the honest trailer for that one, if... it hadn't been said a million times in prior reviews and whatever before, since it took them a literal year to make the HT for that game.

Since it's not been Smosh, they've been ... just crappier. Like an own-brand version.

His age is a bit off, IMHO. If Yoda died in his 900s, then his species ages about a human year for every ten. So a 50-year-old would be more like a 5-year-old than an infant.

I liked Hopper too but season 3 made it reaaallly difficult. I also didn't really mind either way about Joyce/Hopper but the "will they won't they" thing (that we already went through with Nancy and Jonathan in previous seasons) was starting to wear thin tbh.
