WELCOME TO THE MACHINE

There's no reason to be ashamed of this. In my youth, I could barely get past Hard Water before I discovered debug mode. Soon as I discovered that? I went straight to the last level, dropped for the first time in my life in front of the Vortex Queen. JESUS CHRIST, I was absolutely terrified. I thought for whatever reason, if I went to the level before the boss, maybe it would be easier. Seeing as that level is WELCOME TO THE FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF MACHINE AUGH OH GOD, I actually was scared to play Ecco for a month or so after that encounter.

After Tides of Time came out, I bought it; under the impression that "YAY VORTEX ARE ALL GONE, RIGHT??" fffff I hate being WRONG.

...at least there's Ecco Jr.
