I read the scanlations before his name was confirmed to be "Light" and in the earliest scanlations he was still called "Raito"... so I tend to call him "Raito" mainly by the force of an old habit when I'm talking about Death Note with my friends, although I know Light is his official name. If someone gets their panties in a twist over the spelling of the name of a manga character and therefore thinks I'm an idiot now, I can't say I care very much. :----D

I think this is cute! There's nothing wrong with fantasizing and obsessing a little. Sounds to me like you know where the line is and you're just having fun :)

@118: That... would be scary-cool, actually. For some reason though, I see either Mao as an -ass-kicker or "Gogo" (the actress' name escapes me at the moment, woe!) as a NORMAL girl. They'd either both be the same way or they'd be opposites of each other, but Mao WOULD'T be the normal one, and "Gogo" wouldn't be the insane ass-kicker.
