YOU HAVE TO WRITE IT. It'd be so fucking fierce. like, Jensen would always be stealing people's shit and selling it back to em whereas Jared takes honest blacksmithy jobs when he needs money. Jared would be all pure and only have like celery and apples and banana juice on him, while Jensen eats a ton of meat and drinks gutter booze and all. and then they'd have sex and give each other presents and maybe eventually get married and it would be AWESOME.

111. I don't watch Supernatural, but I think it would be pretty swell if a main character in a popular and nerdy show like that got religion and it was played as a good thing. In some ways, it seems like religion gets added to the mix to add drama and angst.

121. Really? I always felt kind of...powerful. There's a lot of guys who freak out in a good way when a girl gets a good geek-on going about Kirk vs. Picard or whatever. Granted, it's been awhile since I was in one that was quite as male-dominated as Star Trek just because it seems like more and more previously all-guy fandoms are starting to get a female following now (superheroes, for one).


129. Aww. That's so sad. I mean, I love James Jean, and his covers were one of the many beautiful things about Fables, but we still have the characters we love, we still have Bill's marvelous writing, and --best of all, for me!--we still have Bucky's beautiful art!


134. Man, I remember the last time I tried to make my sibs sit down and watch if for Christmas. They complained the whole time, played video games, and didn't even make it past the flashbacks. I was heartbroken, because watching it that time around, even not getting to finish it, made me realise what a beautiful, beautiful movie it was.
(BTW, not the same vein, but old Christman Movie thing--The Man Who Came to Dinner is excellent!)

101. Me too! I go to a smallish technical community college so if someone's interested in fandom, they don't really show it. I'd love to have someone offline to discuss fandom with, but it's so rare. I had a customer at work start talking about fanfic the other day and I was so surprised that I didn't even think of trying to start a fandom conversation! D:

I go to Berklee College of Music in Boston, and everybody here is either SERIOUSLY DEDICATED NO TIME FOR ANYTHING ELSE or... not very bright and the party type, which I am not. I think we have an anime club though. And there are a lot of other colleges around...

No one would want to ramble about femslash in video games with me anyway :(

122. I think we'll get both. I don't much care about Edgeworth, but I'm excited to see Gumshoe again, and one of the trailers suggests Franziska will be in it, so... But we should get an Apollo Justice sequel after that. It might take longer to get here, but it just means more games to play :D

I have a friend who's studying chemistry and is very much into femslash and video games, so I don't see that as impossible. Even if people are not very much into femslash themselves, they can still get a chat out of it. I'm not really into it (not enough cocks for my taste) but I still sometimes ship fem pairings and have no problems chatting about them. I'm sure that you can find someone!

Not only is seeing a KND secret here awesome (that show needs more love), but these have been my exact thoughts for the past six years. ;-; I was heartbroken when I saw the fandom shift from Nigel/Abby to Hoagie/Abby. I was even more heartbroken when I heard the latter became canon.

Oh, I completely agree. I understand KND is a kids' show, but it was pretty freakin' awesome, so it deserves some recognition. I was excited to put up one of the first KND secrets. I'm SO glad to see another 1/5 fan. Same here! I was upset when I discovered that 2/5 was more popular because I didn't understand /at all/ why people shipped it. And because 2/5 was popular, 1/Lizzie magically became popular, which just irked me more, until I had to express it through fandomsecrets.

Oh, that whole '2/5 is canon' thing is another secret altogether. Because of reasons I won't rant about here, I'm 99% positive 2/5 really isn't canon, but because fandom thinks it is, it's accepted as such.
