Over here (Sweden), the general opinion is that you should only compete with costumes you've made yourself. Commissioned ones are perfectly fine to wear around the cons.

Though our cons are modest things compared to what goes on abroad. *sigh*

101. I do too. My college doesn't even have an anime club, and it's tiny. It's so very, very far away from my home so it's not just an interest in fandom that's missing but an interest in all the things I'm use to. I keep saying it's college so there HAS to be someone who at least likes one of my interests but :(;; I'm to shy to ask about those things.

As sad as it is that Glottis don't even have the Bonewagon after his pal is back, I still can't bring myself to agree... mostly because I kinda maybe shipped Manny and Carla. I know I know they barely interacted but I was twelve when I played it and tragic romances struck oh so many chords with me back then, okay? Besides, Manny wanted eternal peace, and he can't stay with Glottis if he wanted it.

102. I don't know much about the show, but...I'm getting really tired of the concept that shipping such-and-such pairing makes you a bad feminist. I guess I can see it for SOME pairings, but it sometimes seems like people have knee-jerk reactions that you're a bad feminist for shipping anything in which the woman isn't some sort of dominatrix.

134. Ironic secret is ironic. This movie caused me mental scarring in my Freshmen year of high school. Because I won the part of Violet in our school's production of it by acting talent alone, but because I was only a Freshmen, and a lot of older kids didn't like me, the part was taken from me. XD So I hate it, and will probably never watch it again now. :B BAWWW, etc.
