Hmm. I can't see how it's a problem for people to imagine him being gay -- as long as it doesn't make people hate on any real life woman he might happen to be pictured with. Other than that, who's it hurting? People are assumed to be heterosexual all the time -- don't see anyone up in arms about that. And yes, I know he's dated women in the past, and blah blah blah ... the point is, we don't know, and unless people imagining things about his sexuality is in some way, shape, or form causing the guy troubles, I don't see the point in getting worked up about it.

145 - THE TRUTH IN THIS SECRET IS SO TRUTHFUL IT HURTS! My Best Friend is a Vampire is the most EPIC vampire flick EVER! XD I absolutely adore that movie. (Although my favorite RSL movie is actually Tape - I highly recommend it! How can you go wrong with a cast made soley of RSL, Ethan Hawke, and Uma Thurman??)

101. I'm sure there are, lots! I found lots of people from my old school! You could always try having a badge with a fandom-related text on your bag or something... I discovered a fellow slasher in someone I had courses with when I saw their Remus/Sirius badge. XD

103. It has nothing to do with competition. It just shows appreciation for someone's writing and trust in them as a writer; that they can portray the characters in a way the person agrees with and that the author's stories and style speak to the person. I have a couple of writers like that for other fandoms. There are many ways to portray characters and pairings and some I really don't agree with, so when someone does it in a way that is just right for me, I don't see anything wrong in expressing it. It doesn't necessarily mean that someone else's story is worse; it just means that it may not speak to me the way the other writer's does.
