I like it the usually written way, but I like it that way too. I just like D/s, it doesn't matter to me who tops or bottoms. I've found that in pairings where the dominant character is shorter than the sub character, more often they are written with the sub topping because tall topping short is just as much a common trope as dom topping sub is. In the Kylo/Hux fandom, for example, there are quite a few fics where Hux dominates and orders Kylo to top him.

It was indeed the wise and all-knowing advice and affirmation of my fellow Kylo/Rey shipping fandom friends that convinced me that I am the gender I am. Nothing else mattered. They are the experts. This is how gender works.

I've seen so much melodrama and negativity about various fandoms recently (not necessarily here, just in general). It's nice to see some genuine good-natured confusion. No one's ranting. No one's whining that their friend doesn't like their fandom. Just "Huh?"

I think Yennefer with a baby would be a complete disaster.

That said, I find her motivation... plausible with what we see of her early days. Fertility is something that she cannot achieve on her own, and she doesn't like feeling out of control.

She's done hella more stupid things than seek a fertility cure, in the cause of feeling "in control".

In short, she's an angry mess of a woman who makes dumb choices and I love her so much for it.

Eh, most of the trans people I know in fandom transitioned in their late 20s and early 30s, but okay.

On the other hand, some of your points aren't too bad. You can be afab and straight and butch or queer and very femme or nonbinary or whatever, too. You can crossdress or present a different way to your birth sex and not want to transition. Whatever makes people happy is fine.

Her whole story to me just screams written by a man. She wants to be hot, having hotness is how she gets what she wants, she wants power but she has no clue what she wants to do with it, no goals, no aspirations other than making people have orgies because if the male writer had power that's what he would do with it, but she needs some kind of motivation and she's a woman so she must want a baby because all women who don't have babies have empty lives and leave no legacy.

Right, like, I want to be clear (because this secret may get inflamed) that I don't think there's a one-size-fits all solution to any of this and it can be deeply complicated for individual person trying to figure themselves out and I support that.

I don't think OP is supporting any of that in good faith, I don't think that's even close to what the secret does.

I don't think you'll even need fandom for it. The creators of the show seem to be bringing a lot of pre-Disney lore back, and for Mandalorians the most important thing was clan/family. So if anyone's allowed to see his face it would be his partner and/or kids. They made Baby Yoda his kid basically, so I'd be willing to bet we'll see more of his face in s2.
