126. Ah ha ha ha ha! Because every state has a law requiring gloves when handling food....not. And gloves can never get as dirty as gloves. If you don't change your gloves every once in a while, they will be just as dirty as an ungloved hand. Gloves =/= super hygiene, proper hand washing procedures and general cleanliness do.

P.S. It's television, I don't think the hand washing procedures of the staff make for such exciting tv.

As for Dean/Castiel, there's a lot more leeway when you consider that angelic possession may work differently than demonic possession; the vessel may be unaware of what's going on, or consenting, or etc etc etc.

132. I guess I'm a wanky feminist because I definitely believe 90% of fandom would HATE Castiel if he was a girl. I like him though. Although I honestly don't think he's like the greatest character ever and I don't get the massive insane love for him.

I do agree that most people wouldn't be as receptive to Castiel if he were a woman, but what can you expect from a show with a mostly straight, female audience? If it were switched and SPN viewers were mostly straight males, they wouldn't get excited over new hot guys joining the show either.

Why are there so many negative comments in response to this secret? I don't even watch this series, but given the pictorial evidence presented here, I'd have to say the OP's points are valid. They're not saying anything about representing the body type of women in the real world, or even that this design is ultra-realistic - they're saying that, for an anime girl, this girl's got some sexy junks. Also some stuff about loving her midsection. Valid, I say.

And yes, judging by that image alone, her tummy does seem to stick out a bit. Concavity doesn't do anything for me either.

OMG I think that every time I watch the show!! I've never worked in the food industry but I thought it was 'law' that you had to be sanitary when handling food. I honestly keep waiting for someone to call them on it. I'd be sad, but COME ON!!! -__-

Do you wear gloves when you cook at home?

TRUFAX: pretty much the only time food service people wear gloves is when you can see them. I think mainly because people get freaked out if you don't wear gloves when they can see you prepare food. Despite the fact that they've never put gloves on to make food in their LIVES.

(Unless, of course, they've also worked in food service.)

As long as your hands are well-washed, you wash after handling meat, etc., it's fine to cook without gloves. You may not see that part on a TV show though, because who wants to watch someone wash their hands over and over and over?

I work in food service, and even WITH gloves (visible food preparation, joy), we must wash our hands 30 times a day. And that's fast food, where apparently no one is supposed to care. Cake decorating, I'm thinking they definitely wash their hands.
