Because I think I would never bother writing about Foreman for the same reason that I would never write about Thirteen. If there's a rock to turn over for this character, the show will turn it over and spend a multi-episode arc on it. I don't need to write it.

That said, I totally think there should be more Foreman/Chase slash. Because *that* is obviously not gonna happen on TV.

I do agree that most people wouldn't be as receptive to Castiel if he were a woman, but what can you expect from a show with a mostly straight, female audience? If it were switched and SPN viewers were mostly straight males, they wouldn't get excited over new hot guys joining the show either.

I don't know about the person and if they're racist or not. I bet a lot of people don't write Foreman (or other black characters) because they don't know how to write for black characters. I'm gonna make big assumptions and steroetypes here (please don't reply saying your best friend is black), but I would not be surprised if a lot of people in fandom have never had a black friend. Not necessarily racism, just ignorance.
I mean, that's why Foreman doesn't have as much screen time as a lot of the other characters, since the writers are mostly white people who don't know many black people.
Race relations in fandom: yay.
