149: OMG it's about time someone brought that up. But of course, the people who talk about how 10 is their (first) Doctor haven't KNOWN Who long enough to realize another regen is a problem. I mean, has the limit even been mentioned in the new series?

I have a good number of issues with the Tenth Doctor. Not least of which is his being a RAGING DOUCHEHOLE.

But I worry that a lot of my issues with him (the deification, and SAAAAAAAAD AND ALOOOOOOOOONE for instance), is something the writing team thinks is GOOD and INTERESTING and will continue to do with the next doctor, as well.

I really want to start liking Doctor Who again. The first half of Series 4 (up to and including The Unicorn and the Wasp, but discounting The Doctor's Daughter) had so much potential, too. :(

Although you're right that people are over the top about David Tennant leaving (though I loved him as a Doctor) I wouldn't worry about him going through his regenerations. It's science fiction which means anything is good to go. If they want more regenerations, they'll think of a way. I mean they have exactly paid anything more than lipservice to much of the previous incarnations of Doctor Who and the many 'facts' about the Doctor have they? A minor detail like that won't stop anyone. They'll find that the Doctor is a special Time Lord or something that can regenerate forever or whatever so don't worry :)

Seriously, watch the damn episode. On the thinking level-it's about how evil is not restricted to the supernatural and that humans are perfectly capable of doing bugfuck crazy things all on their own, which, given that the boys seek out that kind of thing, they are bound to run into every now and then.

On the shallow side-it has Sam in a skintight tee shirt kicking ass and flexing his biceps shortly after being locked in a cage and grunting/sweating/being sexy.

The cosplay community is full of petty people, but you just got to ignore them. Do cosplay because you love to do it and you love the characters, don't let anyone get to you (they're just jealous anyway)
