149. THANK YOU!!! I've had friends whinging for his leaving since the first season, and that's always been my first thought. I mean, I like Ten and all, but yeesh, we're burning through regenerations real quick-like and there aren't that many left!
My guess is that, in the unfortunate event that they get to 13, they'll pull some applied phlebotonium to give him more regenerations, or else it'll turn out 13 was just a rumour and only the Doctor's been crazy-reckless enough to get that far.


159. I gotta say, anyone who thinks Ten was a one-dimensional character gave up too soon. I love Eccleston's Doctor so much more, but Ten is six different shades of creepy. Nine was broody with sarcasm and random hints of sunniness. Ten is...Ten is just messed up as all get out and acts like a doof because he's too immature to want to face his own issues.

I was pretty much crushed when Wonderfalls was cancelled. When I went to Niagra Falls IRL I looked through a few souvenir shops to see if there was a place where I could put a coin in a machine and get a little plastic lion, but alas I found none. Then I actually thought oh of course not, I'm on the Canadian side, ignoring pretty much completely that the reason I couldn't find it? Because it's from a fictional show.

Kino no Tabi is a beautiful, beautiful series, and it's not too long to boost. If you're going to watch it, try to get it subbed or fansubbed, though, it'll give you a better sense of Kino's amibiguity, among other things.

109: I'm so sorry you lost your mother. My mum is still around but is not doing well. She loves Get Smart (the original series) and I like to imagine her pretending to be a Control agent. (1) Ugly Betty is an hour-long, primetime dramedy and those shows don't tend to generate a lot of fanfic. I bet if the characters fought demon ninja vampires in space, there would be tons of fanfic.

(2) There is a fandom, but they're avoiding you because you use words like "homotard" and "fagdom".
