What fic of yours, if you write, would you love to get more attention than it currently has?

(Preferably comparatively obscure to fit the secret, but if you want to boost a high-engagement one instead, go for that! It's all still self promotion here.)

Honestly I'm just shocked at how many readers I do have and how many kudos I do get. Writing porn does help. But the fact that I get readers and have at least 50 kudos on all of my fics is just continually a shock to me. Especially given I write for a relatively small fandom.

I've boosted this before, even on fandomsecrets itself, but I'll keep promoting "white as tar" until my soul falls out. Tiny fandom or not, 30 hits is too little for it (and i fear a third of those hits were accidentally mine).

Ha, I wish I could decide. I'm always bouncing between "THIS IS THE BEST STORY I HAVE EVER WRITTEN WHY DOESN'T ANYONE COMMENT" and going "EEP" and hiding under a rock when somebody actually does comment.

Currently writing a fic of a rare pair in a dead fandom and I'm desperately hoping SOMEONE will read it if I ever finish ;_; Problem is I spend most of my time in the English fandom while I don't trust myself to write in English so I'm writing in my native language. I DON'T KNOW WHERE EVEN TO POST THIS SHIT WHEN I FINISH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

... I spent a good five minutes trying to decide, but I think I'm genuinely happy with the attention I get. Huh. AO3 says I get an average of 197 kudos per fic, which is awesome.

(Okay, I have one friend who can get over 1000 kudos per story, and I'll admit I'm often, like, paralyzed by jealousy when I R&R her stuff. But she also only writes Explicit fics for juggernaut pairings, and I like writing more gen stuff about minor characters. I gotta do me, attention be damned.)

I'd love to get a written review on one of the only consensual gay sex scenes I've written. It is Hercules/Aladdin and is more romantic than I usually write. I usually write darker stuff so this was an experiment for me.

I'm actually pretty happy with the amount of kudos and comments I get on my fics. I guess I kind of wish the response for the follow up stories in the series I've written didn't drop so much from the first ones, but I understand why it does.

I wrote a poem for a fandom years ago. It was gen and kinda silly but I think it might still be the best thing I've ever done lol. It didn’t get much attention because well poem and gen and i'm not exactly a great author. (:

I am visiting my sister. We are not doing anything but my nephew wanted up at her. Go from being trapped in one house up another. I would rather be home not it make them happy.

for the first time in ages, I have a whole weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) off from work, so I'm using that time to relax and play video games without having to worry about when I need to go to bed to get up for work

I have to do my taxes and write a speech for Tuesday. Also watching some Supernatural. No plans other than that. Feeling a little out of sorts emotionally/mentally for some reason, so just going to take it an hour at a time. Stay in my room mostly because I'm irritable for no reason and my parents don't need to deal with that.

Getting ready to make garlic bread to go with my homemade alfredo sauce and fettucine. I'm still debating whether to add broccoli and chicken (already have some cooked) or just eat it plain.

This weekend I'm going to do some reading, maybe watch some TV and listen to podcasts (I discovered a new one called Fresh Hell that I'm liking, the hosts are a woman from MA and a woman from Austria and they cover murders/other creepy stuff). I also want to do some writing, and I probably need to do some work. Also probably should clean since everyone I know has been going crazy cleaning their house and organizing for the past month and I've barely done anything as far as that goes. Also want to bake something, but no idea what yet.

Who is just kinda...truckin' on? I don't have any real anxiety about the virus. I don't mind being home alone all the time. It's a bummer I can't go see a movie but, hey, I have torrents and I can make popcorn at home.

I go out when I need to (with mask), do my thing, go home. Wash hands/use hand sanitizer. It's just a couple extra steps in my day (and I always washed my hands as soon as I got home from being out, anyway).

I dunno...I can't quite get the desperate anxiety/upset a lot of people seem to be feeling, and I'm not sure why.
