166. I've been wanting to find episodes of this since I haven't seen it for a loong time. Oh, KTEH. (Honestly more interested in seeing what the source material is like, but I won't say no to the Robotech version.)

I was able to get Mospeada from Netflix. I actually found myself preferring the Robotech just for the childhood nostalgia factor.

And all that "evidence" stuff is just kind of creepy, in my opinion.

The evidence freaks me out, honestly. I recall something awhile back involving a picture with Nagayan and in the background, was this tiny black thing. Said black thing was supposed to be a table in Tuti's kitchen or something? Apparently this is SRS BSNSS evidence in the Nagayan/Tuti fandom but I don't...get...it :(;;

I'll admit, their "leader" over-reacts and jumps to conclusions a lot, but really? There are far, FAR worse fandoms. T/N fangirls are actually pretty mild if you ask me. But that's just my opinion.

Oh goodness, of course I don't attack people with a "ARGGGRPSHATEARJGUGSDDKJHDSKJHH" attitude--I'd never do that to anyone IRL.

But this is fandom secrets, so I'm allowed to let out my supressed frustration :P

I'll admit, I'm envious that you've met corteous Nagayan/Tuti fangirls :( Perhaps it's just my own personal experiences with them that have jaded me :(

And of course, I don't doubt that they're friends at all--very close friends, even, but I can't bring myself to romantically ship them.

154 - while i do ship them, i can totally see where youre coming from. id love them to be together, but it would be SOOOOOOOOOOO angsty and complicated and honestly, the svu writers just dont have the chops to pull it off. they do the procedural stuff so much better, and i rather they just stuck with that than keep muddling it up like theyve been doing.

I think Mei is boring. We don't really see the bonds of loyalty between her and a subordinate or superior officer or sibling or whatever, which is what I think makes characters in FMA seriously interesting. There's potential there, because of all the time she spent with Scar and Dr. Marcoh - I mean, talk about odd-bedfellows (only not like *that*) - but that's never on-screen. Still, last we saw of her, she was rushing back from Youswell, to help out, so maybe Ling will have some competition for Cool Xingian character. But that won't change the fact that I'm not keen on her character design.

133 - But he doesn't have his own lighter. I think that makes him a social smoker and I totally blame that to Danneel which made me lose respect for her...that I already didn't have.

But anyways, given the development that happens in the last couple novels, it actually makes a lot of sense that Mai and Naru don't end up together. And personally I don't mind so much, since they were never my favorite couple. (I liked Bou/Mai a lot more.)
