And I even agree (though I still love the forbidden romance :P). The first series totally rocks because of Peter's always kicking against the church. They kind of lost sight of that and a lot of other things by series three - it turned into a bit of a roll call; Quigley is money-making, Niamh is angry, Ambrose is silly, etc etc. None-the-less, I love that show :D (as you can probably tell from my LJ) The BallyK fndom is about six people big though...

I am convinced that Jack was in love with Will. He admitted it himself in the '80s, but since it was one-sided, he had no choice but to bury it and continue with being one of Will's best friends, because it was better than nothing. Actually it adds a whole new dimension to Jack's promiscuity; it's almost like a coping mechanism.

tl;dr - I WATCHED WILL & GRACE TOO MUCH LOL.

Also, you gotta remember Will's face in the episode with Psychic Sue. He looks like he's toying with the idea of liking Jack and he doesn't look disgusted until the idea of the sex actually hits him. XD

And yes, once, Jack did say he loved Will, and for a while I swear Will as considering the idea of dating Jack (that one episode, remember, where Psychic Sue convinces him he'd spend the rest of his life with Jack?) so I agree, for sure, that there has always been something lingering down there for both of them, but neither of them had the linger thought-switch turned on at the same time. XD
