Don't let that ruin the movie for you! The realization that you made is what classifies Let the Right One In as "horror"

While I do believe that Eli's attraction to Oskar is mostly due to survival instinct, I also believe that what she feels for Oskar (and more than likely the others before him and after him) is a painfully genuine attachment bred from loneliness. No matter the end result of their relationship, both would rather deal with those consequences than remain alone.

119 - I AGREE SO HARD. If the show REALLY ends with ~angel~Dean having to smite ~demon~Sam, I will be so disappointed. I really have loved Sam as a character.. Aw, I always rather thought Jamie was a great character. I mean, his accent and kilt are definitely appealing points, but I like the way he deals with all the new things he comes across while traveling with the Doctor despite being, in most cases, way out of his depth.

129: I think they're both awful, since neither of them sees Haruhi as an equal. Tamaki puts her on a pedestal, completely in love with a Haruhi that doesn't even exist, and Kyoya has all sorts of notions about what it means to be a woman, and how she should behave because of it (as evident in the horrible beach episode). Both sees her as someone to protect, and can't imagine her to do the same.

I think Most potential romantic relationships in Ouran destroys Haruhi's character.

141: I've watched an interview with the author, and he said that "everything that happens in the book happened in reality, but in a completely different way". He clarified that he obviously didn't mean the supernatural parts, but I think it implies that things will be all right for Oskar.

170) Reeealy? I really don't like her either, but my dislike has much more to do with a confusing character design than anything else. Supposedly she is 15 years old, but since she has the size and appearance of a 4 year old, I simply can't see her as anything other than that "savant toddler" trope, which I detest. Worse, every time she gets romantic she hits my chan-squick. I think I wouldn't have any trouble with her at all, if she were drawn to look more like Ran-Fan. I know that Arakawa was going for Adorable and Cute, but for me Mei is Deformed and Genre Breaking.

THANK YOU! I'm so tired of Rodney fans thinking that he doesn't need to be changed at all. He actually could do with some minor changing so he's not so abrasive to others. All she was really trying to do in Brainstorm was to keep him from making so much of a scene - no matter how much he yelled no one was going to believe him so there wasn't a point in trying to yell out that it was his idea.

The only problem with Keller is that she's been shoved into so many episodes it looks like she's just shoving her way into Rodney's life. Which as more to do with the writing than anything else.
