I have Asperger's, the real kind. Professionally diagnosed and everything. I will occasionally make reference to it, because it's a large part of who I am, and because I want people to actually have that background info in their heads if I accidentally do or say anything. However, I've never used it as an "excuse" for anything. If I say anything too OTT, I'm generally too mortified to apologize, much less make a lot of excuses. I just go away and try never to interact with that person again.

I absolutely hate these lying little dickheads who claim to have AS, for making us all look bad. But you know who else I have a massive hatred for? Do you? Evil, worthless fucking assholes like you, who automatically assume that since some people claim to have a neurological disorder they don't have, therefore absolutely no one has it at all. I hope other little dickheads keep assaulting you, using whatever excuse they can think of, and spit on you every time you go outside.

That stuff's illegal in several countries (yes, even if the characters are completely fictional), and I'm sure some people here would rather not accidentally download illegal images on their computer.

154 - YES. I can tell that Jon's a clever guy and all, and I do think that the Daily Show is well-written a lot of the time, but I just don't find him funny. The way he sort of smirks at his own jokes really grates on my nerves, and I don't think he's nearly as entertaining as a performer as Stephen is.

On behalf of those who DO actually suffer from Aspergers and myself included, I'd like to officially apologuise for those dumbass fans who've tried to convince you other wise.
I was diagnosed three years ago and until then I had no idea what it even freaking was. Did all these people suddenly look it up on the internet and suddenly all went "HEY THAT SOUNDS LIKE A VALID EXCUSE, LET'S ALL SAY WE HAVE ASPERGERS!" it kinds of makes me a little sick inside.

Also - Since when did it automaticly make people come off as rude or something like that? My major problem is that I find it difficult to read people so I tend to be very awkward and untrusting of most people. Seriously I cannot go out without my husband or my ipod, people just weird me out far too much. As far as I know no one's ever referred to me as rude. Strange maybe because unless you start talking about something I really enjoy I cannot wade myself into a conversation at all.

Okay. So Samus is popular because she's "female and old-school." So a male character of her caliber would be called "a generic badass." So what? Bollucks to you! The reason her being a female oldschool makes her amazing is because, first of all, yes. She was oldschool. As in, before it was so common. She was a role model for all the gaming chicks back when gaming was largely a guy's thing. Second of all, the female thing was REALLY played down. She wasn't a sex object, she wasn't a tease, she wasn't a damsel in fucking distress. She was practically a spacial-age amazon. And that meant that she kicked ass.

P.S.: Also? They weren't trying to push that she was a chick at all. I didn't know until years later when I was reading a comic. Given I was a small child, but the only time I remember her gender being referenced in the game is when you died, and even that was in 8-bit color and pixels so big that there was no detail. So get over yourself. She was cool for more reasons than that.
