This is kind of confusing because Netflix calls a lot of stuff "originals" that they didn't produce. Like... I love Great British Bake Off/Baking Show, but Netflix didn't really make that.

I liked Jessica Jones. I like Black Mirror.

I loved the Witcher once I got around to watching it, which was way after the hype had started to die down. It wasn't the best fantasy show ever, but it was fun and had plenty of things that I love.

I haven't watched all of it yet, but what I've seen of Castlevania so far I've liked. And the same with Warrior Nun. Just started it, but it is good so far.

Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing this weekend?

Tonight I am avoiding going out because my shitty town is having an unoffical "Trump Parade" (which I think will amount to like 20 white guys in trucks). Tomorrow, I've got to start crocheting my mom's Christmas gift. I'll also play video games and drink with my sister Saturday. Then Sunday is for cleaning.

Taking it easy. My temp job has ended, and no idea what I'm doing next week other than job searching. But it has been a stressful week, I have had a migraine since Monday, and other than laundry I don't plan on doing anything that isn't relaxing.

I've got some new music to sort through and put on my ipod. That's probably what I'll end up doing most of the weekend: listening to music, both the stuff I've already got on my computer and then stuff on Youtube.

If I get sent my assignment for the Trick or Treat exchange, I may start working on it because I'm in the mood to go wild and just completely spoil my person with a bunch of gifts.

I've got some work stuff to catch up on, otherwise I'm gonna be just hanging out. Probably doing some reading, and I might start trying to catch up on Supernatural before it comes back with the last few episodes next month.

I read media from both and while I'm not a purist, I get easily thrown off by things that don't sound quite right. An American saying "Mum" instead of "Mom" or something might be a little distracting but not a dealbreaker if everything else was okay. But IME, it's often the case that authors who don't care enough to get the little details right won't show much attention to the bigger picture, either. So, kind of like an awful, misspelled summary, it can be an indicator of overall fic quality. That's my opinion, though. What do you guys think?
