117 - THIS! I loved Felicity and Samantha, but Molly was my favorite (maybe because I looked like her. My first "cosplay" was as her, before I even knew what cosplay was). And in very subtle ways, some of the books did encourage fandom behavior like 'shipping. It always bummed me out how the books had to follow this formula, because sometimes I'd envision stories (HOMG pre-teen fic!) where the AGs wouldn't be so predictable. Also: I'd totally see the movie too. Let's go!

118 - Well Rita always was too much for ~~Zedd~~ ANYONE to handle. And Zedd was pretty awesome for a bad guy (he's so scary!). So the 'ship- does it still apply even if Zedd becomes a human like I heard he did on one of the latter series?

120 - AWESOME.

154 - I was kind of shocked when I heard about the redo myself, but I saw the new toys at Target and thought they were pretty cute. I think I'm a bit too old to revisit that particular fandom, but I wouldn't speak anything against it. It's Strawberry Shortcake, for cryin' out loud!

155 - Those videos made me like her despite the rumors and the otherwise weird/bad acting stints (see "Cheaper by the Dozen 2"). They were recced to me by a friend, and I LOVE them. (Plus, did you know if you change the audio track on the DVD, you can do the whole workout to a totally different tune? It's quite cool!)

158 - Like it or not, FFnet's still the largest fic archive on the 'Net, so while a huge chunk of it is shitty stuff, there ARE things on there that are good, hence people reccing them. Sometimes it's impossible to FIND things without recs on a site like FFnet. Also, why are you hating on the customized comment page? At least the other things kinda made sense, but a customized comment page? WTF?

I have to agree with pretty much all of your above statement ... why was there never a second series?! I mean you could have had so many different plot ideas worked in there. Ben coulda become corrupted due to being exposed to the negative magic; Hobbes could become paranoid and sensitive to 'dark' magic due to the amount of time he spent in the company of the whisperer; Ethel woulda become more awesome; Tim and Azmat famous;....

...Obviously I have too much time on my hands and should really stop watching those dvds when I get bored ... So I'll apologise now for scaring you. *nods* And re-state that I agree with what you said.

I used the cheats for a while after I first got the game and found out about them, but that got old. There's something about building up a rich family from scratch that is so oddly satisfying. Cheats are boring and way too easy.

I would play legit, but I like to have tons of pets, a big garden, ect. so I never have enough time left in the day after my person goes to work. I'm also horrible at balancing multiple people at once unless I pause the game and set up enough tasks to keep them busy for a while.

125. Yeah I know, me too...I tend to like really obscure fandoms so I can barely relate to most of these fandoms, and yet I check frequently for updates...sooo lame...

Don't worry, 103 - I know a lot of Paul McDermott fans and know people who ship him with many, many people. :) The good thing being that they play along. Recent episode where Paul sang that he wanted to kiss Mikey a good example. :)

I don't get much guilt about shipping real people, particularly when they deliberately encourage it. It only bothers me when the shippers start genuinely believing RP ships...
