101) Time for a new challenge? You could pick up rare pairings -- convincing people that an outlandish pairing not only makes logical sense, but, in fact, is practically inevitable is a great challenge to both intellect and writing skills. And people love the shit out of those stories when you pull them off.

111) Give in. It's much more fun to be attracted to people than to dislike them and wonder why everyone else likes them.

114) Oh lordie. 1) Be open about this before you get married, because if this turns out to be a turn off for him, then you have a life time of unsatasfying sex to look forward to. Sexual incompatibility can kill a marriage. Some guys find a submissive partner to be annoying and exhausting. 2) Don't define it as deviant. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with wanting to be submissive in the bedroom or out. Nothing wrong with being a guy who likes this either. As long as both are on the same page. 3) Make sure this is really want you want -- the fantasy of submission and the reality of submission are different. 114. Well, I don't think they're talking about a D/s lifestyle, but just as an occasional kink in the bedroom. The lifestyle is definitely something you have to be careful and very sure about. Occasional handcuffs or whatever isn't really something that is going to make it where they rarely get their way on anything. I don't know what kind of fic the OP has been reading, but I kinda doubt that they even know what the hardcore side of bdsm is like since they seem to think that by wanting to be submissive in the bedroom makes them a deviant. There's some crazy shit out there. I totally agree, though, that it should be talked about before marriage.
