141. I don't think taste in television indicates any sort of intelligence one way or another. But the fact that those shows are aimed at and popular with women creates the perception that women are only interested in shallow pursuits like looks or drama-filled relationships.

108-Maybe he already thinks you're beautiful. Since you didn't know him there's tons of reasons he might not have called that have nothing to do with you being inadequate.

110-Nothing is wrong with you. Stories are designed to give you an emotional reaction and release. It's normal to cry more at a fanfic that works for you about characters you love than it is to cry over a near stranger when you hear they've died. Crying at stories is just simpler than response to real people.

Odd thing is, I have to kind of agree with you. The comics don't bore me, I do love them, but man, I find them almost impossible to read. Something about the format (a grouping of comic strips going straight down the page on a Livejournal post) makes them really, really hard to pay attention to or get sucked into for me. I wind up just skimming them. Haha, maybe we'll both have a little more luck when the manga/anime comes out. |D;;;

151. You know, I was nervous too. I was excited just for JDM as the comedian, then I read more about the graphic novel and then went and bought it. It's so worth the read, and the fandom has been very welcoming. Don't be too worried.

Bobby is awesome. In fact, he's family. And according to Bobby himself, "Family don't end in blood."

Dean even thinks of him like a father. Sam probably thinks of Dean as a father.

I've said for a couple of seasons that if the boys ever had kids, they would refer to Bobby as Grandpa. (Ellen would be Grandma, even if it wasn't Dean/Jo. But Missouri would also be Grandma.) I know Sam called him Uncle Bobby in a AVSC, but that was then. A lot of things have changed then.
