125 : TF2 is not original. It is just another version of the Team Fortress series. Every engine has a mod of Team fortress, it's just that Valve own the "official" license and as such get more air time with their version.

Remember Quake world? That's where the original Fortress game is from, not HL2.

131. I support this secret. It bothers me any time I see artists pay close attention to and put stock in the praise of their audience. If I'm going to create something, I'm going to work on it for my pleasure, until it meets my standards of quality -- if you like it too, that's great, but I'm not doing it for your praise. I'm doing it to create something beautiful (however defined) and to express some idea or emotion.

I mean, I understand that someone who is posting here is obviously in fandom themselves and cares a lot about fandom in general, hence their preoccupation with their own potential fandom. But, really, focus on your fucking book and don't get distracted thinking about the fanfiction it may or may not generate, FFS.

Mmmm...no. Not for me at least.

I liked Anzu for who she used to be: a strong character who, while she was friends with the guys, didn't take any crap from them. But the second she falls in love with Yami Yugi she goes through a complete personality change. She suddenly got stupid and extremely selfish (see: calling some guys perverts just for talking to her in order to force Yami out, rushing to ride on a ferris wheel in an amusement park where there was a known terrorist lurking about so she could get "saved.") and was reduced from an equal character to just plain Obligatory Female Character/Love Interest. Anzu's gender has nothing to do with it.

So while yeah, it is annoying to find people who hate her just because she's a girl, I find people doing the opposite: liking her BECAUSE she's the token hated girl equally as annoying.

Agreed. I liked her when all I had to watch was dubbed episodes on tv (I mean... I didn't watch dubbed 4kids anime, of course not), but when I read the manga all I could do was facepalm. I think the ferris wheel thing was really the turning point. I just couldn't like her character again.
Which is okay I guess, considering I'm not all that big on YuGiOh anymore. But still. I would've liked to leave with some good feelings about all the characters.
