I remember Scott Weinger sharing a tweet after his death that featured the Genie and said something like, "Genie, you're free". That really got to me.

I was so saddened by his death, too. He was such a big part of my childhood-not just the Genie, but there was also his role as Batty in Ferngully, and I remember watching the reruns of "Mork & Mindy" on Nick at Nite all the time as well. Add in the way he died as well and that just makes it all the more heartbreaking.

I hate the "it's REALISM" excuse for why something is the way it is in any kind of media. It's lazy. That game sounds like it was created with the intention of frustrating the player and I sure as shit don't have time for that. A challenge is fine, but intentionally making the mechanics hard and using the "realism" excuse is just dumb.

Spoilers: Literally today I watched an episode where... uh... someone else in his body "Took a bullet" for him and then pretended to be dead (the "bullet" had hit a magic rock in his pocket). That fake out "death" of "him" did not hit whatever aesthetics my brain thinks the main character's near death would.

The affected tone she puts on for Bly Manor sounds a bit different than how the actress actually sounds (or how she sounded in Hill House). I think she was trying to evoke a more eighties-ish sound? I couldn't really say.
