105 - Have to disagree in terms of the horrible acting. Tom Welling has maybe three facial expressions (and they are all weirdly earnest, apart from his emo face. Actually, still earnest.) and two tones of voice. Jensen Ackles is the best thing since sliced bread. (well, you know, good.)
In terms of looks, yes, to each his own (Yeah right, JA>TW. The internet is no place for diplomacy, no matter how false.)
Also, Welling has a really big face.

Dude, I love Signs so much, it hurts. Joaquin is AMAZING in that(actually, in all M Night's stuff) and I can stand Mel Gibson(I actually don't mind him in a lot of his older stuff like Mad Max, but... neither here nor there).

I love M Night's stuff. I don't care what anyone says, his movies are really thought out and extremely clever.

IA. Times a million. I think the problem most of my friends have with his movies is they get stuck thinking that they are supposed to be horror when they are really psychological theories. They are supposed to fuck with your head a bit, not scare you.

I know most people hate the Village, but to me it's effin' scary thinking that these group of people manipulated so many to such a degree and purposely scared them into staying.

155. While I totally agree that girly girls can be/are great characters, but I think most of the hate comes that so many female characters in that archetype and it can frustrate female fans. If there was more of a diversity of archetypes, I think the hate would lessen, not go away, but lessen. I'm not going to lie, I get disappointed when a strong female becomes a domestic girlfriend/wife when she finds love. Not it's a bad thing itself, but it happens so often that it irritates female fans more often than not. In the case of Soma/Marie, Soma was that rare Gundam female character that was 'tuff stuff' with a softness about her, when Marie returned and she's the typical shounen female character characteristics, it disappointed her fans, although I would like to see what she'll do after Wild Bear's passing.

But then again, you're not going to appease who hate female characters though, especially ones if it gets in their pairings, BL, yuri or het.

160. LOL. I bet those stages where it's moving piss you off to no end. Yeah, platformers in those days were HARD and still is to this day. Although I never found Sonic to be hard except for finding Dr. Robotnik. I remember the days I would play the entirety of Sonic 2 on the Genesis in one sitting and get fucking stuck on the very last board because I can't find Robotnik. RAGE.

155. The growing number of the "omg you're sexist" allegations in the 00 fandom make me see red (mainly because I keep hearing them from /m/. Seriously, 4chan has forfeited it's right to comment on fandom misogyny at this point in my mind). You're not allowed to dislike any female character without getting pounced on, and god forbid if someone be displeased with the way a character's role has changed.

I mean, I can't imagine anyone would gut another fan for thinking, say, Louise's or Shirin's development this season have ruined perfectly amazing characters, yet saying the same about Soma/Marie only gets someone lynched. And while I like Marie, and if she's enjoying being a bridge bunny, hey cool. But I couldn't help but notice, she isn't chewing out anyone for letting her fight, Allelujah is. All I see is a woman being coddled by an overprotective boyfriend who chews out anyone who even touches her. And I honestly don't get why anyone could think a fan is sexist for being a little concerned that the show seems to neglect showing us whether or not Marie actually agrees with her boyfriend going out and bitching at people for letting Marie do something she felt was necessary.

So far, I've noticed that 80% of the reactions are of people bashing Marie or lamenting the direction Soma's character has gone., and they're rarely attacked for it. I'm asking in all honesty, and not attacking your opinion here.

Well, I would like to think that the writing was relatively clever and entertaining (or at least better than the art), and I know people can overlook the art to an extent, but... I don't know, I've seen webcomics reamed by half the internet for lesser artistic sins than mine, and at a certain point I figured I'd rather have my comic be lost and forgotten in the vast sea of unfinished webcomics than go on and become One Of Those Comics that everyone makes fun of.

... Though now that I think about it, it's egotistical in a way to assume it would've gotten that much attention to begin with.

It's a tough sell at best, OP, and even if she is a Sue, she has a lot of charming aesthetic traits working in her favor to make audiences forgive any traces of Sue-ness.
