Found out my partner's sweet baby dog has stomach cancer. Shit sucks, man. :(

Had a good but very busy work day. Right now, I'm exhausted and have a migraine. My mother told me my eyes looked really bloodshot when I got home. I think I'm going to ice my head for a little while then go to bed.

Poor sleep again last night due to sick bunny, 9 on the pain scale, haven't been able to eat or drink. Actually saw the phone light up when the vet called, the tests came back "VERY positive" for EC, and we discussed some things about his prognosis, and she told ME to get some rest, hahah. (And so did my friend who had that recent bout of not sleeping for over a week, when I got online briefly in the middle of the night and he was also up. XD)

But hey the tank tops I ordered two months ago finally arrived, and they're awesome. Just wish it hadn't been a high of like 72 - with me being dehydrated, I was too chilled to wear a tank top. I'd hoped to wear them all summer. Now I have maybe a month if it warms up again.

Sorry about your bunny, but I hope you get some sleep.

Got my cat inside at 3 am, was woken up when she yowled at a neighborhood wandering cat who's been coming in when I leave the door open, kicked the poor guy out, called in to work, made her an appointment for allergy shots on Friday, went to the dentist for the first time in 6 years to replace my lost flipper retainer and found out I have NO CAVITIES for I think the first time ever.

I'll be missing a front tooth until Friday but it was worth missing work and paying $280 just for that.

Now I'm going to the hardware store to buy replacement sink pipe fittings for the second time in a month. Plastic pipes are easy to work with but if this one doesn't last next time I'm gonna find a metal one that fits.

:D Yay for the cat's return! And no cavities. =)

And I hope the pipe fitting works out.

Congrats on no cavities.
Maybe look into getting a high flouride gel to apply once a week to keep it that way. its used like regular toothpaste so very low effort

Hi, I just realized I'm wearing my shirt inside out!

I don't have a twitter account and don't plan on getting one, but just today I stopped being able to click through to twitter threads to read them; doing so requires a login.

Anyone else having this problem? Is it a website/my device issue or is twitter going the way of most other social media where you have to log in to read?

I hope not; some of my favorite authors are only active on twitter and I like hearing about works in progress and stuff.

Would it be a big deal to make an account? You don't need to post, but I'm wondering how you keep on top of following people without an account. I can barely remember the handles of people I know and follow.

AYRT--I literally have zero social media accounts unless Ao3 counts, and I've never had any in 25+ years of being online. I don't intend to start for twitter.

As for people I follow, there's maybe two or three I check regularly and another five or so I'll check every so often.
