Elsewhere in the comments here, there's mention that they did both get dumped by their SOs afterwards -- Hosea said so on the Bravo site, and Leah said so in some interview. (I don't have the link to the comment here on hand -- I want to say it's on page two somewhere -- but apparently she owned up to her boyfriend before the show aired but played everything down, he forgave her, and then he saw the show and was like, "Uh, that was waaaaaay more than you implied it was," and dumped her ass.)

You sound bitter - let me guess. You spent all this time and effort to work in the gaming* industry and it turned out to be pretty much like any other desk job, except one with pretty tight deadlines, countless hours of overtime, intense pressure from higher up, lots of stress, and much less creative input that you thought you'd have - but hey, you're making money. You'll have some free time to spend it when you're retired...

I don't cosplay, but I do sink a fair amount of time and money in other fannish endeavors, and have been since before I was in college - and still, I'm pretty sure my job pays more than yours. And I actually like it.
