143 -- Holy shit, The Tomorrow People!!!! I freaking loved that show! I still have all the episodes on tape. I should dig those out tomorrow and watch them again.

Did you know the guy who played Megabyte also played a Viper pilot named Duck on Battlestar Galactica? He had a big part in the first series of webisodes they did, set during the occupation of New Caprica. He was awesome.

I recently got the episodes again and have been rewatching like crazy. The nostalgia value is amazing! All in all it's still really entertaining. XD

Also eeeee yes! Christian Tessier in Galactica is just all kinds of awesome! Much love for him. (I also find it amusing and win that Ami = Tia Dalma in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies).

I'm sorry, but I think I can relate. Not because Cosplay is a waste of time (I used to do it myself and still highly enjoy other people's costumes when I see pictures), but because I have a "friend" who is incredibly ~~jealous~~ judgemental of me trying to get my life somewhere, whereas all she has in her life is making costumes. (No, really, it is. And I can assure you she's not happy with it, but doesn't do anything to change it, either.)
Discrimination and judgemental behavoir - it works both ways.

I'm with you. I bought my PS3 only a few months ago and that was my first game. It was a piece of cake (no pun intended) once I got the hang of the controls, but I was stuck on that damn chamber for the longest time until I finally decided to go to youtube and look at a speed run to find out what to do LOL. It's still one of my favorite games ever, though.

I am a cosplayer with a high paying government job. I'm not alone.

Haha yes, the whole 'you killed my father' thing makes things complicated (though interesting)- that's why I prefer them together when they were kids, had angsty bonding tiems and gave birthday gifts to each other.

165: I know EXACTLY what you mean. I do rate him as a singer, in terms of technical proficiency you can't fault him, so as long as he sticks to the broadway classics, it's all good. But that pop album he did. Holy christ on a stick that was NASTY.

And yes, he is a crap actor. But he's just so damn charming and winsome, it doesn't matter. XP

I've seen this in a comment like word for word before, and honestly I don't see it. Is it the clothes? Or just thinking he looks like a douche in general? I'm kinda curious, it squicks me when he's totally drunk, but other than that I love watching him perform.

151, Garak/Bashir and Ziyal: Yes! This is exactly how I feel. I can't hate Ziyal because I find her an amazing, wonderful character. I actually really really wish they hadn't killed her off, because there was something so cool about a Cardassian/Bajoran character and how she interacted with both of her planets of origin and with Kira and Dukat. And I could totally see how she had a crush on Garak, and how he would be glad to hang out with another Cardassian, even if she was almost a child as far as he was concerned. But on the other hand, Garak/Bashir! ♥ And I could tell the writers were trying to keep them apart...

I'm tempted to 'ship Kira/Ziyal so Garak is free, but then I sort of think of Kira as Ziyal's big sister, so I don't know if that works.

*sigh* Oh Trek, why did you have to keep killing off the cool women, and not letting us have any canon slash?

He does make quite a sexy black man!
