Yeah, remember when [SPOILERS] Shinji died? Everyone was standing around him, as he drew his last breath, freaking out and denying that it was happening. And what was the MC doing?
Standing there, with a blank look on his face, probably zoning out to the music.

In fact, since he takes that player and headphones with him everywhere, chances are he never actually listened to anybody when they talked. He probably just zoned out to music, letting the horribly unexplained power of the Wild Card do all the work for him.

As someone who literally just started reading watchmen today, my impressions are that he's a much less awesome batman because Bruce Wayne >>>>>>>>> Dan Dreiberg. But seriously both comic and movie versions remind me a shitton of batman lite.

Please don't lynch me watchmen fans, I like the book fine, I just prefer batman in all incarnations, including the incredibly awesome adam west from my icon. >_>

Well, yeah. It's supposed to be a deconstruction of the superhero genre, of course there's going to be less-than-awesome superhero characters because they're not supposed to be awesome.

Dan's not even supposed to be Batman. He's based on the Blue Beetle. Comparing Dan and Batman is like comparing apples and oranges.

108. I really don't have an otp in this fandom. As much as I like how Peter & Olivia work well with each other, I kinda ship more your pairing (they seem to have more chemistry atm). I don't mind if Peter/Olivia becomes canon but I'm liking the slow pace of it happening, it'd suck if they suddenly start having looks towards each other by the end of the season.

I had no idea there were so many followers of this movie! It's one of my favorites. Peter and Paul are gods. They're on my list of favorite villains, which is quite small. This secret and the abundance of comments made me happy. :3

Though I must say, in contrast to what most everyone else is saying- they don't freak me out at all. XD Nor did the movie. But hey, in this form it was all just fun to watch. Now I want to watch it again. Ack.
