119. Yeah, a lot of people like to idealize Yuki and Shuichi's relationship when in reality it's really fucked up. But the music is great.

I love her on CSI. Though, I can't remember her from anything else I've seen her in...I ought to remedy that. And she does indeed look good with red hair.

156 - Yes! I don't mind that they retconned his attempted rapes from the pilot, it's the damn woobie Chuck, Blair/Chuck bullshit ~drama~ that gets me. Less Chuck, Chuck/Blair angst, more of what they were doing in the first season (B and C conniving, fighting, fucking and flirting and more Non-Judging Breakfast Club). The emphasis on Chuck is not working for me, but that's what the fangirls want so Savage and company are going to give it to them. Yuck.

I totally agree! The fearsome foursome working together towards the end of the first season was the best part of the show for me, but I've always preferred friendship narratives to relationship drama (friendships can have just as much complications, as many layers). I feel as if quite a few characters are not getting the development they deserve for the sake of Chuck Angst, and the Eyes Wide Shut thing was just embarrassing.

I also wish the assault on Jenny wasn't retconned, but dealt with. Seeing Dan hang out with his sister's molester was just painful. I'm not saying that Chuck should be a 2-D villain, but at least we could see WHY he's no longer like that, rather than having it brushed away with, "Chuck was just being a forceful seducer, and he would have stopped." That also doesn't fit with what Blair said in the next episode, where she drew a line between Chuck's conquests and victims.

118: I don't know. That doesn't really come off as him seeing himself as transgendered to me. :/ When my cousin was that age, he'd do a lot of the same things too and even said he wanted to be a princess when he grew up. He stopped after a while. So far, he seems to have no gender issues.
