First, KKM will always have an open-ended ending, no matter how many seasons there end up being.

Second, I'm fairly certain neither Yuuri nor Wolfram would want anyone throwing a baby off of a cliff or shooting an elderly person, so... Give them the baby and have them bond over it.

The completely irrational way people have come to fangirl this pairing is what has been turning me off from it lately. Stop ruining something good, fandom.

agreed. 100%. i can't tell you how offended i was on sam's behalf when dean said what he did about sam sleeping with madison, ruby, and cara. sam is digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole of self-loathing and it's partly dean's fault, and it certainly doesn't help that the angels who pulled dean out only know him as the 'boy with demon blood'. my heart is breaking for sam this season.

and like you, i still love dean, i really do. but he's starting to piss me off, too.

165-Did anyone think for one second that maybe, that is what they want to happen. Pushing Sam deeper into his darkness. So the whole Sam & Dean showdown can happen.
Sam going evil isn't going to happen in one episode. Its been going on all season so when the end of the season gets here and Sam goes darkside, it will be a logical step.

i'm not the OP, but my personal problem with it is that we're not seeing a whole lot of sam's descent to the darkside from sam's point of view. we're seeing that he's sneaking off and using his powers, talking to and confiding in ruby, and keeping it all a secret from dean, who's being told by the angels that what sam's doing is leading him down a dark path, and we've seen dean's reaction to it all. what we haven't seen is what sam's doing, besides pulling demons out of possessed bodies, or what's going to push him to the dark side. he still thinks he's fighting on the right side of things, he just wants it to end and for the right side to win. only in the recent episodes have we gotten a clue about how sam's been feeling about everything.

i'm sure that a showdown between sam and dean is where the writers are heading, but i don't think they're going about it in the right way.
