I wouldn't say that you're elitist anon, this is just your opinion.

My opinion is that Edgeworth has an American sounding voice, with a slight British lilt to it. I imagine it to be similar to the Germans that I know who learned the Queen's English. *shrugs* It's all a matter of opinion.

114: I don't care about ships (esp. Doctor/Rose) in DW. But I like Donna, or at least, I don't hate her. And I like her better than either Rose or Martha. At least she didn't just follow him around and agree with everything he said and did. She told him when he was wrong, and that's pretty cool. He's not perfect.

Don't feel too bad. I just turned in an illustration assignment that had the TG3 in it. If they don't know, then it doesn't mater IMO.

I have to admit, I like the pairing. I don't go out of my way to ship it, and I get a little squicked at any of the Yume Nikki ships trying to be sexy instead of fluffy (eww saliva) but yeah, it's kind of cute.

It doesn't even have to be romantic in nature. I just want to see that Madotsuki can act human, or could learn to. If she could even befriend Masada or Poniko or Monoko or Monoe or any of them... well, then the ending might have played out differently. Or maybe it wouldn't have, but she could have found some happiness along the way. So it's not really that I want to see them making out or whatever as much as I think that relating to another person, even if it's just a dream, could have really helped Mado-chan, whether it's platonic or romantic or whatever. And Masada's adorable. So are a bunch of the other characters, and I don't really prefer any one pairing for it.

I think maybe if we actually had fic, Yume Nikki shipping wouldn't look so awful- people could try to explain the characters, especially Madotsuki, and look into what they are and what makes them tick. And maybe the shipping wouldn't even be the total focus of it-- perhaps if Mado learned how to interact with other people instead of just stabbing them all the freakin' time, she'd have some positive experiences and possibly become less of a hikkikomori. Why can't I write? WHY DON'T WE HAVE NICE THINGS? Mostly it's just fanart, and while that's often very pretty and while cute fanart as opposed to sleazy fanart does exist, it doesn't always do a great job of showing that we're not just pairing everyone up for the hell of it. Not that there's anything wrong with fanart, of course, but even the best fanart isn't the best way to convince non-supporters that a ship isn't gross/awful/stupid.

So I'm sorry if I'm making you feel angry by saying I support this, just, I wanted to tell you that not all of us are all "it's hot and there HAS to be romance in it and lawl she stabs him hahahahaha." Just saying.

this always bothers me.
you don't suddenly just GET agoraphobia when you're in the car. agoraphobia and other phobias don't just APPEAR every now and then.
it's nitpicky, i know, but either you have it, or you don't. perhaps you get an attack of agoraphobia.

but i highly doubt that as well.

Oh ok. My wording was a bit off and all of a sudden Dr. Sharpiequeen8 had fixed all my problems! How silly of me. Yes, I should have said "I get agoraphobic in the car" which leads to the attack - do not dare act like you know me or what's wrong with me. :D K? Because, to be frank and honest with you, I'd rather not have this, I'd love to drive around happy and not wound up so tight that my arms ACHE from clutching the wheel and sitting ramrod straight.

Before you try and diagnose someone else, think for a minute the wording might be off... or just keep your damn trap shut.

I tried to see it. I really did. I used to view every one of my fandoms through slash goggles. I just can't do it with Rorschach. For as much as this pairing is accepted in the community, I just can't see it as anything other than a severely flawed and damaged friendship.

After all, they hadn't seen each other for a very long time in the start of the comics. Dan didn't even know how Rorschach had been doing. Dan had changed over the course of their separation. He'd forgotten how they did things when they were partners-- which translates to him forgetting how Rorschach did things, which is revisited later in the comics when Dan tells Rorschach the plot is "too big to be hardassed about" and that he needs to compromise.

I definitely see friendship there-- Dan is the only person Rorschach seems to consider a friend, or have any positive, personal connection to, but I don't think it's a very strong friendship. I think it might have been at one point, but not by the start of the comics.

idk though I seem to be in the minority.

Honestly, that's exactly how I feel about it too. For all the crap the fandom gives Dan for not going after Rorschach at the end of the comic, for all the people who insist Rorschach craves to be with Dan 24/7, for all the praise their friendship gets for being wonderful and close...I wonder how many have stepped back and examined the facts regarding it, especially after Rorschach lost it and their partnership began to wither away.

There's still a level of care there, arguably, but it's one that seldom lingers on either of their minds.

I completely disagree with this secret.

I love Donna for the following reasons plus many more, but I don't feel like preaching because you're entitled to your own opinion:
- She stood up to the Doctor and fully put him in his place when she felt in necessary. Yes, all the other companions do this as well, but Donna did it so well. She wasn't afraid to insult him.
- The Doctor and Donna had an amazing relationship that wasn't romantic in the slightest. They were friends. I loved S4 because it wasn't shippy. Granted people do ship Doctor/Donna, but you can't stop the shippers from shipping.
- Donna was independent. She did things during her travels with the Doctor without him present (See "Midnight"). She didn't follow the Doctor wherever she went.
- She wasn't even bovvered.
