I had a friend say something similar to me once, about music. I was 'stupid' because I didnt agree with her opinion about a bands new album being horrible. What made it worse is that she said this to me in front of her mother and our friends, as if that would 'embarass' me into agreeing with her.

I'm not so sure it's really about the fangirling as much as the fact that there are really plenty of unattractive people on TV, and one has to wonder how often the OP channel hops when he/she encounters one.

I mean... I can think of a lot of actresses that are widely considered beautiful in Hollywood, for example, that I find to be plain or just not pretty.

Technically FtM (thus the Naoto pics), but more GF than truly wanting to switch genders entirely.

I'm terrified to tell my family about this, and as much support and love as my online friends give me, my RL friends treat this as though I'm just playing around... Some days I'm female, and dress, act, and speak as such. Others I'm male...but I still have to dress like a girl, and act like one. Because they wouldn't understand.

I'm going to see a shrink when I can afford it... I know I need to.
