I treat these movies as my guilty pleasure, and when I saw them in the film, god damn. Loved them. (I still think that one song is their song ... even though it was written for Garbiella and Troy, like always.)

118. (Only played SSBB of these, but...) I don't feel the same way (I adore multiplayer, even if my brother always DOES kick my arse), but yeah, 1P needs more love! Subspace Emmissary is fucking BRILLIANT (even if I am stuck on the Cave, Link, I love you, you've been my main since N64, but why so shit at jumping? D: ), and as fun as Brawling is, 1P can be quite underappreciated. (Samus fuckin' Aran and PIKACHU on a team. THAT. IS. AWESOME.)

I've got no beef with multiplayer fans, just the fact that us single-players tend to be the red-headed stepfans.

And hell yes SEE is awesome. :D I think it's the greatest crackfic I've ever seen, and crack authors need to at least watch the cutscenes. SSE is how you do crack right - equal parts funny, tearjerking, and, of course, AWESOME.

And yeah, Samus and Pikachu = LOVE. The best part is that it's perfectly in-character for Ms. Aran, too. :D

118) Same here. It may sound rather selfish, but I don't enjoy sharing a game/play-through with anyone else until I finish it.

Also tend to prefer single player campaigns in games, unless the gameplay is absolutely best (or necessary) when played with others, such as TF2 (or in this case, Brawl). I hate to be the type of person who throws some kind of fit when a reviewer or player devalues a game for it's lack of multiplayer; but I would hate it even more if ignoring solo-play actually became a trend.

To be fair, that's not her best picture. She's not that ugly. She's not stunningly beautiful, sure, but I wouldn't call her ugly. If she's ugly, then most people are ugly, because she's about average, at the least.

Back when I was 12/13, I was mad about Tracey/Kenji/whatever you call the guy in your secret. I designed a trainer persona after him, made a fansite, wore a red elastic headband pretty much every day until the end of middle school...heck, my nickname for ages was "Tracey" (with the quotation marks - very particular about that). ...Unquestionably I went more than a little overboard, but I was nuts about him. And, of course, my friends (as much as I adore them)...never let me hear the end of it. "Tracey is a girl" was a popular taunt, as was coming up with all sorts of comical ways to rid the planet of him. Yes, okay, they definitely did it to get a rise out of me (and it worked), but it was all in fun as far as I can tell seeing as most of them still associate with me today.

But at the time, maaan, even a little support might have been nice!! Sorry your friends laughed at you too :(

Honestly, I think your younger self had fine taste in a first cartoon crush.

Awww, thanks ^v^ The reason I really liked him was because he was an artist and back then, I was nuts about drawing (Pokemon) myself. Something that made it even harder for me was that back in those days, I seemed to be the ONLY kid in school to like Pokemon (or at least come out for it in public) so having a crush on a character was double trouble.

167. Agreed ;_; Japan has such a bad reputation as far as BL/gay movies goes; they come out so badly cliched. And not that Ai no Kotodama was PERFECT, but it was definitely one of the better ones, and the boys were so cute together ;_; I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.

There are many games I like to play with friends (especially the more action-oriented ones, and especially if said friends are in the room holding a controller, though going a few rounds of Pokemon on wifi is good too) but a lot of multiplayer feels really tacked-on, and netplay is often just a drag for me. I'm a reclusive bitch, I don't want random people getting in my business when I'm playing games.

Which really is a shame sometimes. If WoW was a single-player game (and balanced for single-player, which hopefully means less grinding) with the same depth of exploration, huge interesting world, amount of stuff to do, sense of humor, etc etc, I'd still be playing it. Obviously, though, the MMO's a lot more profitable, and I doubt anyone can change that. Ah well. At the same time, there are always a few 1P-only games that seem like they really, really could use multiplayer.

It's even better when the same reviewers who bitch about a lack of multi turn around a bitch about tacked-on multi for primarily single player games.

IOW I would have included Metroid for the wonderful reaction the press and gamers had to Hunters and Prime 2, but for fuck's sake the series is all about being alone and horribly lost to begin with. It doesn't need or want multi.
