As you say love of the character has noting to do with the actor's sexual orientation.

But I think what the OP means is that she (I'm assuming the OP is a she) can't be with Dr. Horrible because he's fictional and and she can't have NPH either, because he's gay.

So to her it's a lose-lose situation.

At least, that's how I read it.

102: Definitely agree. They made her a lot better in the musical, I mean, she actually states that she feels "right" when she's above water (and this is before she even lays eyes on Eric). But yeah, the original story is SO much better than the Disney version.

109: I LOVED THAT SHOW AND THEREFORE I LOVE YOUR SECRET.

136: I loved the movie actually (I'm also a huge fan of the comic) but I have to admit that that scene was amazing. But then again, Jackie Earle Haley was amazing throughout the whole thing in my opinion.

142: At least YOU have good taste, unlike your friend. I generally agree that comics come in second compared to LITERATURE (in novels) but Twilight can hardly be considered literature, and it is definitely not good.

I agree, It is fine to just prefer het pairings, (I usually follow female characters and am not usually too interested in the love lifes of men, which means that I tend to ship het a whole lot more then slash), or slash pairings, but when it really becomes only about getting a guy or a girl together or two guys together it then gets really weird.

147. I am going to go a step further and say they value the feelings of all fictional characters over the feelings of real people. However, that isn't all of fandom, and that kind of dismissiveness and disregard for the feelings of others occurs outside of fandom as well.

People just suck.
