My cat is having dental surgery (2 of his molars are rotten and are getting removed) tomorrow and i am very nervous. His last big thing was getting rid of his balls when he was a kitten, and he hasnt needed anything with anaesthesia ever since (he's 12 years now).
His bloodwork, weight and general exam looked well so there isnt any concern except his age.

I hated the way that he wrote Donna's ending too, but at the same time, he's also the guy who created Donna's character and wrote the rest of her storyline in the first place. And that part of it was amazing.

Also, I'm not sure that bringing back RTD necessarily does mean going backwards. RTD has made a lot of critically well-regarded and often forward-looking TV since he left Doctor Who. It's not obvious that he's the same person creatively as he was 15 years ago, or that him coming back means that he's just going to play the hits. It's possible, but I guess we'll see.

If it's something you want to be more into now, and you don't mind being spoiled, I suggest walkthroughs when available. If you feel like that's cheating, sometimes really good ones have a little table of contents, so you can pick something to do and go from there. It might not work for you, but having a concrete list of option makes choosing a little easier I think.

If he'd left the ending alone, because no matter what else you can say the ending before last was a powerfully emotional moment that furthered the show's exploration of the Doctor's character and left a lot of moral ambiguity intact. Her final ending, when she was basically just a glorified extra, was crap.

JNT gets a bad rap. He would be a terrible showrunner, because he's not really a writer or script editor, and that's a big part of what the job of showrunner on modern Who includes. But he wasn't really a bad producer. His period on the show includes one of the strongest runs of television in the show's history (when he had an actual good head writer).

Men are usually physically stronger. That's what it comes down to. Men posting this stuff about women always has a vague rapey threatening edge to it because of it. Something that's lacking from the examples above.
