I've retired from Twilight fandom for ever and ever, and now settle for being the proverbial old man who waves his cane at actual fans from his porch and goes, "You kidsh better shtay off my lawn, with your Edward and your shparkles..."

I will never stop loving Carlisle. If he had been written by anyone else, I would...I don't even know. But I love him.

Basically this: I find this secret oddly profound. And I think that's the most kick-ass approach to dealing with losing a patient that I have ever heard.

Not everyone in the fandom hates the paring! You can count me in! I think they're super sexy together. :)
