Something similar happened with me, only with Shinji. Hated the guy, then I started shipping him with Shirou for the lols and then suddenly he was The Most Deep and Textured and Intriguing Character Evar. (and I haven't been able to make myself play Heaven's Feel for all of my interest in Dark Sakura, just because I'm terrified to see a repeat of Fate with him being killed and nobody caring. ;A;)

Actually, Heaven's Feel kind of made me sympathize with him a bit more, if only because it gives him reasons for being the giant douche that he is. And I kind of ship him with Shirou too, but Shirou's the main character, of course he's a manwhore. You should play HF; he'll get more screentime at least.

145 Ugh, god, what happened to that show, seriously. I hopped off that train about the same time you did, and not because GSR was real, but because it was handled so badly. The Warrick thing was just insulting. Also Nick's character mysteriously never got any smarter, and every time Catherine had sex someone died.
