That manip is possibly the creepiest fucking thing I've ever seen in my life. That said, Ianto has a larger role in S2 than he does in S1. And there are other characters to enjoy as well. If you're just watching for the Ianto show, then it's easy to get stuck in tunnel vision and I can see where it wouldn't be that enjoyable.

165 - I wouldn't mind the blatant anachronisms and disregard of linguistics (it's an adaptation of a legend anyway, and would you expect them to speak in Celtic or something? 'cos historically they wouldn't be speaking in English), I just can't get over how weird that guy looks. Maybe that's his charm but I just want to give him a better haircut and put him into some nicer clothes.
(Plus I've never really been interested in Arthurian legends, anyway. Give me Germanic legends! I'd kill for a decent series based on, say, Volsunga saga.)

There was a storyline where his character hires Eliza's character to be imprinted with the personality of his dead wife so he can briefly relive the happy life they never got to have (she died in a car crash right before he could tell her that he'd hit it big in the computer industry and she didn't have to work anymore). God, I've wanted a crossover of HHGG and DW ever since I first found out about the both of them. Tv!HHGG and ClassicWho, especially, but any variation would be epic. It even makes some sense, too, since Adams was a writer for DW, and that the Cricketmen plot line was originally for DW, but got shot down.
