Are there any ships you are really into without being much into the fandom as a whole?

Lately, Buck and Eddie from 911. The amount of homophobia in that fandom is something I've never seen in any other, and it's just exhausting so I haven't been paying attention to anything since the season ended, while with other shows I still do. I'll probably get sucked back in once the new season starts, though, unfortunately.

Luz/Amity. I try to avoid the rest of the Owl House fandom while I just sit back and silently ship Luz and Amity.

Not by choice. But there are ships I love that don’t have a lot of content for them. The ones that spring to mind first are:

John/Cameron from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Maria/Georg Von Trapp from The Sound Of Music
Cassie/Nick from Push (though personally I only future-ship them)
Dirk/Todd from Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (yes, the ill-fated BBC America/Netflix one with a crappy second season and a POS show-runner)

I got into Brienne/Jaime like a year before I watched the show.

Yeah. Sometimes I get into the ship and fail to get into the fandom but don't give up on the ship.

One of the craziest ships I love is an anime ship, I never watched more than one episode of the anime but I read a lot of fanfic because I love the seiyuu so it turns me on. Yeah.

I am not a fan of Josie and the Pussycats comics but I'm convinced Valerie and Melody are a couple.

I write fic for Joe/Nicky from The Old Guard but I don't touch the fandom on Tumblr or Twitter with a ten-foot pole. I remember going into their pairing tag on Tumblr once, and the two most recent posts were one about how Joe topping during sex scenes was racist and one about how Joe not topping during sex scenes was racist. I legit closed out of Firefox, shut my laptop, and went outside for a walk.

A bunch of (not very popular, at least relatively) books. I feel like books never have fandoms unless it's huge series like LOTR and Harry Potter and stuff.

Oh, and SVU. I'm one of very few Benson/Barba shippers and the fandom is all about Benson/Stabler and I really dislike Stabler so I tend to avoid the fandom.

Thanks to a rec here, I got super into the manga Noragami (I stopped reading it because I don't want it to be over lol), and I just want Yato/Hiyori to be together forever. And Yukine can basically be their kid, I just want everyone to be a happy family T.T.

Another one for Noragami, but mine is Bishamon/Kazuma (is that his name? Huh, it's been a while). I don't care about anything in that series except for them and Yukine, who I don't have a ship for.

Jacuzzi/Nice from Baccano! for the same reason. I'd like to care about the rest of the show, but I don't understand anything. I made a secret about it last year.

For the first season and change I was really into Once Upon a Time, and shipped Belle/Rumpelstiltskin once Belle showed up.

I wasn't thrilled with season 2 and gave up mid-season 3, but I still love the ship. I suspect I wouldn't if I'd actually watched until season 7, less for anything the characters did and more because the show went from uneven to a full on fucking mess.

Actually, looking at this list, these are all very similar characters.

Rose Tyler from Doctor Who, don't hate her, but I don't love her. And she was really only enjoyable in her first season.

I don't hate Tony Stark in his own movies, but he takes things over in everyone else's and so he's my least favorite MCU character.

I hate Hodges from CSI, 13 from House, Mickey from Boardwalk Empire but I think you're supposed to hate him, can't think of anybody else right now.
Edit: I don't really hate him but Brain Guy from MST gets on my nerves.

It's a video game, but Terra from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Oh my fucking god you did not ask and where do I begin.

In a series full of some deeply stupid shit, Terra overcomes the odds by being the stupidest man alive. This man is dumber than an underwater umbrella. He is several clowns shy of a car. If you farted in his ear it would come out his mouth. He is stupid. Not a single thought behind his eyes. Stupid. Grown ass, JNCO-pants-wearing ass, dumb ass motherfucker.
