Did the friend promise it, or the book? And was it romance, or another genre? And if the latter, did said friend reasonably know that ship not happening would ruin it for you?

I'm asking because generally not of my recs (or those I receive) are ship based, also a ship that is not endgame can still be interesting.

Petty Gripes fandom or non fandom

I am annoyed that i know what my hair is like (curly to a certain degree) and how to properly take care of it.
It's so freaking high maintenance. Have to wet or wash and squish it into shape daily. Must put in tons of product to retain shape.
If i just wash and let air dry it looks nice approximately until 1 Gust of Wind and i look like i touched an electrical socket. 😩😩😩😩😩😩
