I gotta say, I agree with you. I like Watchmen, but the Comedian really did disgust me, and I whenever I hear someone try to justify his actions, I have a knee-jerk reaction that his fans are just in it for the pretty actor. I always feel that he was supposed to be a total slimeball, and that you weren't supposed to like him, but rather dislike him more and more as the story went on, and make you think about your own heroes, and what they were really doing. So to me, his fans sort of missed the point.

I certainly can't blame you. Sure, it doesn't pay all that great unless you're recording aaall the time, but you could potentially record drama CDs, image songs, bizarre minigamearrific video game spinoffs, and if you're good, get a lot more recognition than an VA would in the west! Though the playfield seems to be equalling out quite a bit on that last part, since western VAs thankfully seem to be getting more recognition and respect these days.

Oh, that was longwinded. But yeah! I kinda agree! Okay, I really just want to sing character image songs. Sure, incredibly dorky, but fun!

Eh. The TV program on the Discovery Channel was much scarier. For some bizarre reason, the movie cut out almost all of the genuinely scary scenes, diluted the scenes they did keep, and added a bunch of extraneous shit that fell completely flat.

I agree. I think women generally find male genitalia amusing (I'm not sure why exactly. It's just a societal thing I suppose), and alot of men are afraid of teh ghei, so yeah. that sort of thing happens alot. Women are also seen as sexual objects, so their bodies are for display, while men are not seen that way, so male nudity becomes uncomfortable. It's unfortunate. It's not being immature, it's just how society has trained us to think.
