Looks like it's a general imgur issue. Pictures hosted there won't show up on other places either.

He was boring that slowly turned into the worst. I felt bad for the actor, because while he's not amazing the problem with Scott McCall was 100% the bad writing.

I actually thought Buffy and Angel were the worst characters of their respective shows. Just both kind of whiny and/or boring.

It may depend on where you're from. Imgur has been acting very stupid lately for me - half the time I can view pics, and half the time I can't.

I agree about Angel. Always found him kind of annoying unless he was Angelus.

Oh, talking about Whedon: I wouldn't say I love Firefly, but I do think Mal was one of the worst parts of the show. His general dickishness got on my nerves from the get-go.

I looked it up because I was curious.

General Hux from Star Wars. So much wasted potential.

(Anonymous) 2023-05-11 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
That story makes me sad. Sounds like an awful group of people.

Gideon is the worst part of Mandalorian.

(Anonymous) 2023-05-11 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Also, it would be funny.

I just can't get into musicals unless I see them on tape once. Maybe this will be released one day.

What's the last good book you read?

(Anonymous) 2023-05-11 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I just read this children's book by an author that is apparently pretty well known but I had never heard of them, Margaret Peterson Haddix. The book was Running Out of Time and was just a fun quick read. I've been on a kick where I'm reading a lot of children's books, both because it suits my attention span and because since I didn't really start reading recreationally until near adulthood I missed out on a lot of fun little stories.

I get that. It depends for me. A true musical where there are few or no plot/speaking parts outside the singing, I can handle. Ones where the singing ties the story together, I find myself not able to get into the songs until I've seen the whole play.

Jon Snow was the worst by the end of the show. Granted everyone was but he was especially horrible and boring. Though, his catch phrase "I dun't want it :C" is something we still say in my household.

I'm of the opinion that half of the stories on the internet are fake, and one should assume that by default, given how the most outrageous stories are rewarded on the web in general. Especially if they portray OP as a flawless saint that knows what to say or what to do at a specific moment.

With that said, I have seen how vicious communities can get with people causing a faux pas. DWRP has an infamous burn book community that did something far too similar. Tells you something when its remnants pride themselves on having forced games to close.

How To Sell A Haunted House by Grady Hendrix was fantastic. Just an outrageous horror movie.

If it would help, Hadestown was originally half as long and done as a folk-opera concept album! It's how I was introduced to it and I still haven't gotten around to listening to the musical.

I genuinely love the folk-opera, though.

I just finished Honey and Spice by Bolu Babalola and it was super good. I took off half a star for the annoying 'third act break up' that almost all romance novels seem to have but considering how well written the rest of it was, I still rated it 4.5 stars.

DA

Oh that's so interesting! And really clicks with the musical imo. I'd love to hear the original concept - do you know if it's available anywhere?
