... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and I'll try my best to use an appropriate image choice.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

Fucking Star Trek Discovery! We already had Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, and it sucked. We didn't need a second go around of the apocalypse train on real Star Trek.

I will be forever saddened by the creator of Stand Still Stay Silent following the creator of Sinfest in taking a hard right turn down the radical-Christian social-fundamentalist route. It was such a unique take on the horror webcomic genre. I know it is her life to live, but still...

As a Star Wars fan, I think Disney should continue to alter the Star Wars Han vs Greedo scene every couple of years, maybe add extra guns, put Han in a party hat, have Greedo do a knock knock joke, just keep making it more ridiculous every time. Never stop altering it.

I think I seek out so many "wholesome" family based sitcoms simply because my own childhood was a very hostile one. I have a family shaped hole in my soul, and I just want to fill it with artificial coziness.

If 40s audiences were prepared to accept George Reeves occasionally turning into a cartoon in order for a Superman story to work, then I am prepared to accept modern de-aging tech making actors look a bit cartoony occasionally too. We have gotten way too snobby about effects.

I liked Season 2 of Picard. This is the worst opinion any Trek fan can have, and, apparently, the one thing that nuTrek lovers and haters can agree on is that S2 of Picard is just the worst, but to me it is not. It is the best of Picard's three seasons, to me, and far better than Discovery in total.

I love Lower Decks ability to skewer Trek stories in a truly loving way, I just wish they would take on Voyager's infamous Tuvix episode. To see what a fused Boimler-Mariner would be, and how they'd deal with the whole murder-or-not dilemma.

When people called out old Doctor Who fandom, it was to point out how horrid it could be. It wasn't a badge of pride for all other fandoms to live down to, but that is how it seems to have been taken.

I will never play as an origin character in Baldur's Gate 3. I see them as their own characters, so the thought of taking them over and making them do whatever I want feels iffy to me, especially with this game's strong themes of power and control.

I shipped Imodna right up to the moment they became canon. It was just that Marisha's reaction made it feel so awkward, like both the player and the character were being pressured into this relationship. I just haven't felt right thinking about this ship since.

People whinging about how there's never been a good real live adaptation of an anime/manga is becoming a pet peeve of mine. What they mean is they've never seen a successful adaptation of a *shonen or action* story.

Slice-of-life and horror have had good adaptations in the past but people forget about them because they aren't Death Note or Dragonball.

I've always liked Tamora Pierce's Emelan series more than Tortall, and I'm still salty we got a book about Numair of all people instead of the long-discussed one about Tris going to the University at Lightsbridge as a "normal" mage.

Adults diagnosed with adhd or autism as an adult

Did the diagnoses do anything to improve your life?

I am certain I have adhd or autism. A lot of their symptoms overlap.

I have done self assessments that say I likely do. It runs in my family. A coworker with adhd said she thinks I have it.

But...I don't really know if there is any point to go thru the effort of being diagnosed. What would that change about life other than knowing I do?
