Mine are 'reader' and 'first-person pov'.

I could drop in my entire block list, but it would probably be too long. Reader is definitely on it, though.

Similarly, “self-insert”

Same two as you. Plus foot fetish. Other things are easier to avoid. But reader and first person show up so often, and foot fetish is really common in femdom fics. So I block those three always.

Mine's 'Reader', too.

weight gain / weight kink

I mean, YKINMKATO, but I'm somehow amazed that not only is it a super popular thing but that in each fandom I'm currently into, fic writers seem to have magically reached a consensus and zoomed in on a (from my perspective) totally random character to do weight related kinky fic of. It's like... I guess I'd get it if there were some canon weight-related thing? But there's never any reason that I can see for the designated "weight-gain" character to have been chosen... Gotten surprised by it enough (both the untagged stuff and sometimes by missing a tag in a tag forest) that I now always add it to the X list no matter what I'm looking for.

(Sort of like... I dunno, feet aren't my thing, but I'd expect foot-fetish to be a huge deal in a fandom involving, say, characters who are dancers or whose costuming features shoes heavily. I just never thought there'd be **so much** content to filter out on weight-gain kink in fandoms as disparate as victorian detectives, Edwardian grumpy butlers, superheros, and aliens... all of whose canon incarnations are of average to slim build and for none of whom weight is ever a canon issue... baffled anon is baffled)

Alternate universe: Modern setting; alternate universe: non-magical. What can I say? I got into a fandom for a particular dynamic and I'm not too interested in losing the main draw. Not against AU fic in principle (some can be awesome!), just ... these two specifically.

x reader, incest ships, first person

Underage, trans character, cannibalism.

Most of the ones listed in the comments above. Also any type of age-play, “littles”, etc.

“Dead dove: do not eat” is also a very useful tag to be able to filter out. I can tell automatically there’s not going to be anything here I want to see, and I appreciate authors that use it.

Been trying various video games with my friend group. And it seems like every time I fall in love with one, everyone else loses interest super early. Grounded was the one that hurts the most because I love it so much. :(

I've never had any friends latch onto things as hard as me.

Generally if I attach hard to something I find other people just as attached and just make fandom/activity-friends with them. Maybe that could be a solution?

Most of my friends don't latch on as hard as me.

And NGL when I get a friend latch on hard to a thing, whenever I try to squee with them or bond over a shared interest they tend to ignore me and find other people to enjoy the thing with. I've wondered if I send out a sort of energy people don't like when I am super into a thing so I generally don't really connect with people over a thing anymore.
