Despite being apparently ancient by 2024 fandom standards, I actually (mostly) love "screaming, crying, levitating, whatever" as an over the top reaction to something, but like a lot of things in fandom it can be waaaay overdone.

These days, it doesn't matter. The protagonist can be the biggest asshole, but if they have loud enough, dedicated fans, then every flaw and horrible behavior the protag has can and will be glossed over or straight-up ignored.

Hell, if the protagonist is relatively perfect and the audience likes another character more, they'll concoct or exaggerate their flaws.

I've noticed that when Influencers whine and lament how the algorithm is screwing them over, it's actually the fact people don't want to see their drivel.

I remember the moment a law was floating around that would remove the algorithm. Immediately enough, everyone came to its defense.

Yeah I feel you, I quite like and enjoyed the first Deadpool movie and the second one is fine... but I think I hit my saturation levels of that kind of humour after the first and I really don't care about seeing the third. If someone I know is going to see it I might tag along but I'm not particularly enthused.
