... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that secrets with lots of text are sometimes difficult to accommodate and I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space. Also, this is not the appropriate place to hold political debates or arguments about what is and is not fandom - those can go in the General Comments section as their own thread, no need to make it into a secret.

I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

Everyone belongs in fandom, but, if your default attitude is "How Dare People Care About Issues" whenever a social issue is brought up; then you don't belong in fandom. Fandom is where we explore issues. Bonus!Secret: The Boys is probably about you and you still don't know it, and Star Trek is still not your Safe Space.

The X-Files had two types of story. Weird supernatural bollocks in middle America, and Aliens in middle America. I always wanted them to combine the two, but they never did. Where was the episode where Bigfoot got kidnapped by aliens. Or the Greys got attacked by El Chupacabra? Missed opportunities...

Just watched the anniversary edition of The Search for Spock in theaters, and I do not understand why people say the odd numbered Trek movies are no good. That movie is brilliant. I don't think that rule works.

When I'm indisposed/stuck in the bathroom for any reason, I imagine one of my favorite characters going through the same. I don't know why it helps so much, but it does.

Some of them handle it better than others.

The last 20 minutes of the series finale of Discovery is an example of how the creator's vision/long term plan can do more harm than good. The final episode would work better without it.

Despite the limited animation, despite the cheesiness of the stories and dialogue, despite the forced "moral" lessons at the end, despite everything, I can't help but love the Filmation He-Man series. I just love the cheerful bonkersness of it all. They had ridiculous stories, but they committed to them fully and without hesitation. The insanity was the charm.

I had started falling out of love with a fandom a while ago, but the recent drama amongst the teenagers over shipping/problematic characters has kept me there to watch the worsening mess unfold from the sidelines.

I like the idea of Game of Thrones and HotD more than I like the actuality of them. High Courtly Drama in a fantasy world, with dragons, sounds awesome. Yet another round of rape, incest, and pointless stupid murder, not so much.

You know why I like the Sharpe series of tvmovies? Because it is the only thing I've ever seen Sean Bean in where he doesn't die at the end. I love it for the sheer rarity value.

Some people say they'd like to go back and do their life over again, not me though. I'd have to relive the Superwholock era of fandom, and I do not ever want to have to go through that crap again.

I'm really tired of some fandoms kind of deciding a male character has a vagina and just running with it to the point nobody tags it anymore. Not even characters being trans, just... a cuntboy. Doesn't happen that often but often enough to be noticable and I'm over it. YKINMK and all but just... give me the option to avoid it?

I absolutely hate the trend of manga and light novels having titles that basically are weird run-on sentence summaries of the plot spread across half the cover.
It's so fucking dumb.

Laura Dern is the female version of Pierce Brosnan. She too just gets more and more perfect as she ages. Some people just have that magic lifelong hotness gene, I guess.

A childhood being raised on nothing but bad sitcoms has resulted in Gen Z acting like they are the sitcom main female character in every situation. Even the male ones. Thank god the sitcom is dead, so there is at least hope for Alpha.
