I don't know. Final Fantasy X is a game with over fifty hours of gameplay, is on a console that not everyone owns, and so spoilers for the end would still apply, I think.

A least a small marker warning for that would have been nice.

Well, a reaction is one thing. It's just that it doesn't always have to be OMG I'M GAY WTF LAKDFJLKAJ ANGST, and it feels that way a lot in fic. All I'm saying is that variety is the spice of life.

For example, I've seen Adrian written freaking out about being gay or just being totally chilled out about it -- both seemed realistic, though admittedly the first one is harder to do well, seeing as Adrian doesn't seem like he'd freak out about his sexuality. (Ahahaha, I love that the Watchmen fandom never questions Adrian being gay.)

By the way, I hope nothing I've said has sounded like I'm marginalizing bi people. Bi people are amazing, and I hate when the queer community acts like bi people are somehow not "really" queer. There's a B in LGBTI for a reason.

I like Morrissey alright, though I will admit his personality really gets on my nerves (I think his fanatic veganism is annoying, frankly). But Johnny Marr is crap without Moz. It seems like Morrissey gets along fine without him musically, but meanwhile Marr was only good when he was working with Morrissey. Also, I heard (from someone who works at a local record store) that Marr isn't in Modest Mouse anymore. I haven't bothered to find out if that's true or not, but if so, wow, what a gimmick that was, Modest Mouse.

I love this secret so hard. I also stopped watching years ago, and sometimes I too still catch the promos or a bit of the show while waiting for Supernatural, and it makes me sad. I don't think it was silly to hope, OP. It could have gone a different route without messing up the canon. At some point I really thought it was going to be Lex doing all the wrong things for the right reasons. The whole Zigit/Naman, 'what if the hero is actually Zigit' thing from Talisman. Lex believing himself to be the (morally grey) hero would've been too awesome for words and completely consistent with canon. I'm still butthurt they messed it up beyong recognition. The moment he finally said the sekrit to happiness was money and power (WTF!?) I was out of there so fast. It just hurt too much to see him twirling his imaginary evol mustache.

I started watching for the pretty and I absolutely love Michael Rosenbaum, and season 1 and 2 I honestly adored the Clark and Lex interactions because you knew the foregone conclusion but were interested in seeing how the show was going to stretch their friendship and how it was going to break. But they went waaaay too far with their breaking up and subsequent enmity; when Lex became evil and Rosenbaum left I was long gone from watching.

All right, that I can agree with. :) Different people should have different reactions according to who/where/when the person is. My own reaction was extremely bad and seeing that reflected in fics, along with seeing the character move past it makes me feel better oddly enough. So I was probably feeling a little defensive about this topic!
