I always feel disappointed when someone in a yapper/commentary video or in a book, TV show, movie say something like, "I was a late bloomer. I didn't date/get my first kiss until I was 17/in college/in my 20s."

And I'm here like, "39 AND NEVER BEEN KISSED DREW BARRYMORE". Never dated, never had anyone tell me they like me/had a crush on me, never danced with anyone (was never asked to any dances), none of that.

I didn't even feel comfortable/confident enough to wear thongs until my mid 30s. Didn't wear clothes I have always wanted to wear and present myself the real ways I wanted until I was in my late 30s. Didn't really question my sexuality until my mid 30s.

So yeah, would love late bloomer slice of life stories with actual late bloomers in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond.
