OMG RIGHT?!!

I just wann enjoy my demon show with deep worldbuilding .

Im also annoyed by all the videos on YouTube redesigning characters because the way canon did it is WRONG! (like i don't mind redesigns but the cynical overcritical negativity is just exhausting. I've started marking all the 'here's why the hellaverse bad' videos as not wanted because I'm just tired of negativity.)

Online fandom can be exhausting.

I've watched the occasional compilation vids for this show and have gone into the tags for the demon and imp ship(I forget the ship name, sorry) a few times just because I find the idea of their whole mess appealing but I've not sat down to watch the show properly. But I can understand your pain OP, some fandoms are just not any fun to be in even when you like the canon you love, I keep most of my fandom activity to reading fics and reblogging fanart I like and it keeps me pretty happy tbh

I'm pretty sure it's cause a lot of them ARE kids. I've seen a distressing amount of comments on youtube and tumblr about kids bragging about watching an 18+ tv show.

I'm trying to figure out if this is inspired by something in particular, even though the fandom is hella wanky, so it could be anything lol

Going by the last sentence and the timing I'm guessing this is either inspired by the last short with Loona or just general the wank surrounding Stolas (because there is always wank around Stolas. If I never hear anything about that one animatic again it will be too soon).

I kind of get where you're coming from, but I find the whole thing so repulsive I wouldn't even want to play it in a goofy/lighthearted game like The Sims. It just kind of boggles my mind that child beauty pageants are even a real thing. WTF is wrong with people that they think that's ok?? So even in a game I wouldn't want to have anything to do with that. But I can see why it would be fun for some people to have that sort of drama and stuff in a game.

Oof, I'm sorry. Because I moved around a lot as a kid, the experience of just not talking anymore to someone you used to be very close to is painful but also kinda normal for me. And I think that's how I would describe it generally -- it will never stop being painful to not be close to someone you were once close to and kinda want in your life again. At the same time, it's a very universal/human experience -- everyone has a relationship like that in their life. Relationships don't last forever and that's OK.

Have you watched Makoto Shinkai's work? I wonder if it would make things better or worse. XD "Growing apart from someone who once meant something immense to you" is a theme he returns to over and over again.

It sucks and hurts a lot the first time.

A few years later? You'll realize this is just how human beings are, especially in an internet-dominated world. I'm 50, I wish I had a dollar for every internet "friend" I spent hours every day talking to who I now realize I don't even have their current screen name, platform, or topic of shared interest for. I'd be rich! It's hard to realize, that first time, that you have to move on, but sadly, eventually, you'll be ready to move on as soon as you realize you don't have anything in common with your old pal anymore. The road to healthy living is littered with the shells of friendships you thought were deeper than they actually were.
