I don't know.... When I crept into the fandom a year ago, I immediately thought it was wankier than any other fandom I had been seriously involved in. I can't speak for before, but it's always struck me as wanky by nature?

But my meter could be off by a mile since my other fandoms are mostly dead or dying, or just plain small, considering I can find all the fic in the space of one hour.

Heehee. I'm straight, and the day I was able to go "Damn, that's a pretty man!" was a wonderful day. I realized it was the day I'd left all the insecure defensive homophobic bullshit from school behind.
It doesn't mean you're insecure in your sexuality. Quite the opposite, actually. It means you're able to say that without feeling confused or worried you're going to get beaten up. Straight women say it about other women all the time, anyway. If more straight guys are able to say similar, it's not that we're all turning bi-curious, it's just progress.

I def saw the chemistry between them in earlier seasons and enjoyed their UST, but now it does seem really forced and lame. I'll still watch the show though because I still love House & Wilson, although I left the fandom a while ago because I couldn't stand the batshit H/W shippers any longer.
